Why every car needs a cordless tire inflator

Check and fill your tires anywhere, with no cord and no trip to the gas station. Here is what a 150 PSI cordless inflator does, and what to know before you buy one.

A tire that is a few PSI low rarely looks flat. Most drivers only find out when a warning light comes on, or when they are already on the road.

A small cordless inflator fixes that in your own driveway. You set the pressure you want, press start, and it stops by itself when it gets there.

The 150 PSI Cordless Tire Inflator is built for that job. It weighs 15.36 oz, runs on a built in 4000mAh battery, and fits in a glovebox, a backpack, or on a bike rack.

What makes it handy

Preset modes and auto shut off

Choose car, motorcycle, bicycle, ball, or a custom target from 3 to 150 PSI. The inflator stops on its own at the pressure you set, so you do not have to stand there watching the gauge.

A digital gauge you can read at a glance

The display shows the pressure while you inflate, and you can switch between PSI, Bar, kPa, and kg/cm² to match your tire or your habits.

Cordless, so it goes anywhere

The built in battery means no outlet and no cigarette lighter cord. The supplier states a full charge can refill up to 8 car tires (195/65R15) from 30 to 36 PSI.

Fast enough for a roadside stop

The supplier states it can refill a 195/65R15 tire from 30 to 36 PSI in about 1.5 minutes. Actual times depend on the tire and starting pressure.

A flashlight for dark roadsides

The built in light has 3 modes: flashlight, SOS, and strobe, so you can see the valve and be seen at night.

A backup power source for your phone

USB C and USB ports let you use the inflator's battery to power a phone or other small device in a pinch.

Good to know before you buy

Your car's recommended tire pressure is usually printed on a label inside the driver's door frame. After 15 minutes of continuous use, let the inflator rest for 10 minutes. It is not suitable for tires larger than 25 inches, such as heavy duty truck tires. If the overheat protection turns on, the inflator cannot be charged until it has cooled for 10 minutes.
