Turn a single USB C port on your laptop into 14 connections. This slim aluminum docking station adds 2 HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet, USB ports, an SD and Micro SD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. A power delivery port lets you charge your laptop while you work. It works with laptops that have a full featured USB C or Thunderbolt port, and MacBooks can show the same image only on external monitors.

How does it work? +

Connect the dock to your laptop's full featured USB C or Thunderbolt port, which needs to support video output, charging, and data. Your monitors connect through the 2 HDMI ports and the DisplayPort, and your other devices plug into the USB, Ethernet, card reader, and audio ports. One monitor on HDMI 1 or DisplayPort runs up to 4K at 60Hz, while HDMI 2 runs up to 4K at 30Hz. Two monitors run at 4K at 30Hz and 1080p at 60Hz, and three monitors run at 1080p.

To charge your laptop, plug your own power adapter into the dock's power delivery port. The dock accepts up to 100W and passes up to 87W to your laptop, and about 8W is used to keep the dock running. The final video resolution depends on your laptop, cables, and monitors.

Where can I use it? +

Great for home offices, work from home desks, hybrid workspaces, and student desks where you want a bigger screen setup without swapping cables every day. One connection to your laptop gives you monitors, wired internet, USB devices, and charging at once.

The slim aluminum body measures 3.15 x 0.65 x 6.22 inches, so it fits beside a laptop or monitor stand without taking much room.

How do I use it? +

Step 1: Check that your laptop has a full featured USB C or Thunderbolt port that supports video output.
Step 2: Connect the dock to that port. It will not work through a USB C converter.
Step 3: Plug your laptop's power adapter, at least 65W, into the dock's power delivery port.
Step 4: Connect your monitors to the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
Step 5: Plug in your keyboard, mouse, drives, Ethernet cable, or headset as needed.

The dock may feel warm while working. The supplier states 0 to 50 degrees C is the normal range.
